The Emperor’s Children worship the Chaos God Slaanesh, and praise this depraved deity with great debauchery with each boastful conquest. With a hail of explosive bolts, devastating sound waves and strikes of curved swords, they artfully tear apart their enemies, leaving only a bloody painting behind before moving on to their next canvas.

A corrupted Lord of Exuberance leads this warband with whip and pistol, slaying Slaneesh’s enemies in exquisite, ghostly fashion. Behind him stand the Tormentors, the backbone of many of the Emperor’s Children’s armies. Rounding out the force are two squads of Sonar Marines, who fill the warzone with deafening sound waves that will burst eardrums and more. This set is ideal for starting an Emperor’s Children army with a new range of miniatures.

The Lord of Exuberance can be armed with a power fist, plasma pistol, or a bracing whip in his right hand and a phoenix power spear, power sword, or a shrieking pistol in his left hand. You have a choice of four different insignias for his power cell and two heads: with or without a helmet.

The Tormentors are armed with a bolt pistol and a melee weapon. Out of 10 miniatures, two can be equipped with a special weapon: a melta gun or a plasma gun. Alternatively, the miniatures can be built as Infractors, melee warriors equipped with bolt pistols and duelling sabres. The kit includes two Obsessionists who can lead the squads. They can be built with two different loincloths and armed with either a plasma pistol or bolt pistol and a bracing whip or a power sword.

Whichever unit you choose, you’ll find plenty of options in the set to customise your troops – interchangeable heads with and without helmets, shoulder plates with and without the Emperor’s Children symbol, various power cells, and plenty of accessories including grenades, bags and battle stimulants.

Two of the Resonance Marines can optionally be built as Discordants and four can be equipped with an optional bass blaster. The Discordants can be built with three different heads and the Resonance Marines have interchangeable heads with and without helmets, shoulder plates with and without the Emperor’s Children symbol, various power cells, and speakers for their sonic blasters, making it easy to customise your squad.

In this set you’ll also find the new Codex: Emperor’s Children, a 112-page hardback book with an exclusive cover full of inspiring background information, new rules and epic illustrations. In addition to the book and miniatures, the set also includes a deck of datasheet cards and an Emperor’s Children transfer sheet.

This set contains the following multi-part plastic miniatures:
– 1x Lord of Exuberance
– 20x Tormentors (which can alternatively be built as Infactors)
– 12x Resonance Marines

This kit contains 689 plastic components, 20x Citadel 32mm Round Bases, and 14x Citadel 40mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

The included book also contains a one-time use code to access the content in Codex: Emperor’s Children in Warhammer 40,000: The App when the Codex is generally released.
