DF40k League VI – The End of an Era

After seven rounds, countless dice rolls, several Facebook investigations, one Ork ragequit, and approximately 37 official complaints filed by the Tau community, DF40k League VI has come to an end.
And what a finish it was.
🏆 Quarterfinals
✝️ Stamou defeats 🧬 Koubaros
Koubaros completed one of his strongest regular seasons and secured a playoff spot in dramatic fashion.
But Stamou's Sororitas machine was simply too consistent.
The Sisters marched on.
🔮 Gogos defeats 🛡️ Patsirio
Patsirio had fought all season to reach the playoffs.
But the reigning champion showed why he was still one of the most feared players in the league.
Another step towards defending the crown.
⚔️ Semifinal
🔮 Gogos defeats ✝️ Stamou
The rivalry of the last three leagues continued.
League IV: 🏆 Stamou
League V: 🏆 Gogos
League VI semifinal: 🏆 Gogos
For the third year in a row, these two giants collided.
And once again, it was decided on the tabletop.
Stamou's incredible season ended just short of the Grand Final, but few players have ever displayed such consistency.

The man who conquered Leagues I, II and III.

For surviving a 100-0 defeat, throwing dice into the trash, and still returning to win games later in the season.
